New Construction Inspection

Many people wonder why a new construction inspection by a third party inspector is needed if the city already provides construction inspections of new homes.

Think of it this way. Most cities providing inspection services have a lot for the city inspectors to do every day. A city inspector typically may leave the office in the morning with 30 inspection stops to make on their list for that day. 30 inspections factored into an 8 hour day would translate to less than 4 stops per hour (without adding for driving time). How close a look can the city inspector reasonably take if they can't afford to spend more than 15 minutes on-site?

A typical home inspection for Inspectech is about 2 to 3 hours. How close a look can we take in that much time? Okay, that's the math. We hope that helps you decide.
