The job of the home inspector is to examine the structural and operational aspects of the home providing an un-biased perspective of what you are purchasing. His years of experience, general building knowledge, and communication skills are key factors in his effectiveness.

Why do I need a home inspection?
You are borrowing hundreds of thousands of $$$ to buy a home you know virtually NOTHING about other than you like the floor plan or how open and bright the home is. I am providing an unbiased inspection of the operational and performance aspects of the home.
Please consider this... the AVERAGE inspection price is $250 - $300, a small percentage of the 1st month's payment. How would you like to make that 1st payment knowing, now that you've moved in, the air conditioning system is NOT cooling properly? Or, the roof is leaking? Or an electrical circuit somewhere in the home is NOT working? Please check out the Pricing button to right for more info.
What do you inspect?
Everything you can see. I inspect the roof, the attic, the foundation. I open all electrical panels, test all wall outlets and switches. I run the furnace and the air conditioning and check for efficiency. I run water at all sinks, toilets, bathtubs and showers. I open/shut doors, windows, and even the garage door is checked. I operate all appliances. My computerized report, with pictures added, will tell you what you are buying.
How long does your inspection take?
I don't rush through an inspection. On average, it takes 2 hours or more, depending on size and age.
Can I be there?
It is always best if you attend the home inspection! You need to know I'm doing my job for you, and you need to see first-hand what you are buying.
Why should I use you?
I have over 30 years of actual construction experience, hands-on building experience DOING the very things being inspected. PLUS, I have additional training and certifications specific to the home inspection business.
